Hi, I’m Brandon

Before I became a therapist, I was a storyteller. I worked at YouTube during a cultural inflection point, built companies, and made things. I come from a lineage of survivors and entrepreneurs—people who narrated their way through life's toughest stuff. I've worked in severe case treatment centers and community mental health settings, bringing that same storytelling sensibility to clinical work.

I work soulfully, but I'm also grounded in practical tools—because real change requires both. My background as a storyteller means I understand how the narratives we tell about ourselves shape our lives. And I bring all of this to the work because I've walked the path myself. I know what it takes to get to the other side.

I've learned that growth requires slowing way down. Our nervous systems are wired to respond to threat in nanoseconds, to defend. But when we pause—when we create space to recognize what we're truly feeling in that moment—we can do something different. We can disarm our defenses. Growth becomes possible.

At this moment in time, my three greatest pleasures are:

  • An ocean dip—followed by feeling the salt and sand crust on my skin

  • Volunteering on the school yard at my son's school

  • My work
